Barkley's Bookshelf partners with individuals, businesses, and community service organizations to collect books for distribution through schools and non-profits for children to inspire a passion for reading through book ownership.
Barkley's Bookshelf has been awarded a Platinum badge from Candid, demonstrating our accountability to our various stakeholders including donors, grant makers, and the broader community.
The likelihood of being on track in literacy and numeracy almost doubles if at least one book is available in a student's home.
